Yep. The GOP will exact punishment and by the time a court rules against them (e.g. USIP) it’s done. The Dems will spend two years gathering information in hearings or at best file an executive order on the last day of a lame duck presidency to be immediately reversed.

This is not the US decision. It is the Trump administration decision. It is hard to know at this point if this decision will be even more damaging and lethal than the USAID Trump/DOGE cuts and USIP destruction. However, we do know that it will be at least as immoral and unAmerican.

It’s worth mentioning that this also comes after a year of the U.S. gutting support for the UN, sanctioning ICC judges, withdrawing from international agreements, collapsing international aid by breaking down USAID, and damaging any work for peace i.e. through USIP.
