It’s honestly frustrating having to remind people of basic good coding habits and practices over and over again. My current workplace never used to be this bad for such things. Is this something that’s just happening across the industry nowadays?

Another busy week of work and adventures. Lots of evening social events this week. Hit up pride yesterday for a bit too.

The last few weeks have felt incredibly busy. Been trying to settle into a new role at work, which has been quite a change but it’ll be good longer term. Done a lot of socialising in the evenings as well! Think the other big bit was went for a nice walk out in the peaks with some friends.

Tried out dressing as a fluffy animal for extended hours yesterday. Was good fun, but the heat does make you tired easily. Was nice to catch up with various people I hadn’t seen in forever as well, and I only caused a small amount of mischief.
