It's been a while since house updates, I think the last update was back in May. Since then I've had the electricians in to fit new sockets and the ethernet points. I had to wait around for the plasterer to be free so he could come skim the room and fill in any holes and broken plaster.

Had to turn a potentially new and exciting remote position down because the company wouldn't expense the up to twice a month travel to London. For context it can cost nearly £300 for a day trip down there, especially if you have to be down there during normal working hours.
