There's a new digital only Shazam! Comic on DC infinite by Steve Orlando. I'm... not sure how I feel about it yet. I definitely don't hate it, and it interesting how aspects of the "lore" for lack of a better term are being interpreted. I think it's just "not for me", but that's OK.

Very interesting, slightly negative-skewing review of Superman by Scipio of the Absorbascon. I don't agree with all (most) of his points, but they are still valid, and this is the type of review I like, pointing out exactly what didn't work for them, but not being a dick to people who liked it.

Quick thoughts on Superman: - I wanna be Pa Kent when I grow up. He fixed the one thing I didn’t like about this Superman. - Bravo to the writer that named Lex”s main lackey Otis Berg. - Krypto steals about every scene he’s in. - Surprisingly, I like Nathan Fillion as Guy more than Hal.

Less than 2 hours until my boys and I get to see Superman a day early. Absolutely cannot wait. Have a feeling the movie will be awesome, but the best thing is that my kids are just as excited as I am. If Superman can help me instill the values I want to see in them, I'm all for it!

I've been toying with the idea of remaking Heiankyo Alien (new) from the GB in NES Maker, but with power-ups. Today, that idea evolved a bit. Concept of the game is still the same, but in my imagined version, you don't play as a Heian-era kebiishi, but instead a rock Golem with an excavator scoop.
