Remembering Orrin Keepnews (March 2, 1923, Bronx, NYC – March 1, 2015), who was a jazz writer & editor for Simon & Schuster (and editor of the jazz mag The Record Changer), then a record producer & co-founder of Riverside & Milestone jazz labels, and Landmark too. There should be a statue of him!!
