Pesto’s blood test came back. She has EPM a protozoan that causes profound neurological issues in horses if left untreated. It is expensive to treat.1.

As you can see in this video she’s showing distinctive crooked walk of a horse with EPM. I’m hoping we caught it quickly.

You can be very proud of the work you and Diane did. So glad to hear that the animals will all be going to good homes. Take care of yourself, and thank you for the magic of Croutonia. It was a wonderful experience. As sad as this is, when I look at my Mojo and Pesto shirts, I will smile. 🙂

It is with a very broken and sick heart that I share this news- the sanctuary will be closing. My health continues to fail and I cannot run no longer run it without Diane. A formal statement will go out tomorrow. 💔
