I really enjoyed this service opportunity as part of my work’s “Democrats on the Move” series w/ @sfdemocrats.org I got to help hand deliver groceries to seniors and other folks that couldn’t leave their apartments - and in the process some folks shared their personal stories - it was powerful 🙏🏽

That “legacy” is heavy-handed political control over everything that happens in the district: micro-managing small businesses, making them beg for permits & crushing new housing production. I’m proud of Supervisor Sauter for challenging this broken & corrupt status quo.

As a homeowner within 0.25 of a BART station who has a contract signed to fill her roof with solar panels, I'm asking @governor.ca.gov to sign SB 79! We need to build more homes near transit so that working families can afford to stay in CA without driving two hours to get to school and jobs.

As trans people are under assault in this country — e.g., being falsely blamed for the Kirk murder — California is strengthening protections for them. Two bills I’m authoring (SB 59 & 497) to protect trans people’s health & court record privacy passed the Legislature & are heading to the Governor.

A “response” to their Supreme Court issuing a ruling after due process. It isn’t enough that have destroyed the integrity of our Supreme Court. Now they arrogate to themselves the power to demand that the high court in other nations subvert the rule of law as well. This is insane.

The governor is stalling on releasing previously agreed on transit funding. State legislators and the public are organizing in response. There will be a rally in San Francisco on Monday morning in response.
