Just saw a reel that said "I'd rather be cringe to a stranger than a stranger to myself," and that's the energy I'm taking into 2026. Yeah, I can be "cringe" to some people with all my enthusiasm for my interests and passions. But who gives a damn? That's their problem, not mine.

I really enjoy the show Animal Control because they know which literary references their audience will get. One of the characters is named Templeton and they never say it, but they KNOW that name will make us think of the rat in Charlotte's Web.
