This is a really cool view to see how global trade routes have been changed since the Strait of Hormuz went offline. Blue means traffic flows declined while orange indicates trade routes with increased traffic.

Fab to see so many people, from across the community, attend our rally in support of safe routes for kids. As a result of our efforts, the two traffic filters outside JGPS primary school are now permanent and another filter that was under threat has been saved, on Braid Rd 🎉

The repeated “hokey-cokey” (take it out, keep it in) over Greenbank to Meadows cycle route (putting a large LTN at risk) really has been a very shameful chapter in Edinburgh’s active travel story. Good that it seems safe from abrupt imminent removal, but CEC really needs to get this right in future.

This was because of one 'interesting' local campaigner who wanted a tall stand to be able to lean his saddle against to avoid scratching his bike and the transport planners listened to him. One of my last jobs there was putting in standard Sheffield stands at some shops near where he lived.
