Inktober sets completely unrealistic expectations regarding output. Making a complete inked drawing in one day EVERY day for a month is insane and a recipe for burnout. Don’t tie your worth to something that even professionals believe is unrealistic.

If people don’t communicate their needs, issues, or triggers and hide things from you only to unleash them like a deluge that’s toxic as hell. You deserve people around you that will have those hard conversations, communicate clearly, and foster actual community. True friends grow together.

Disabled people can’t “just move” to escape fascism. Moving requires resources, money and health that most of us don’t have. Many countries won’t accept disabled people, especially if they have universal healthcare. People are trapped, so we must fight for them.
