Tomorrow has come. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is now available in Latin American Spanish! Last night, during the Game Awards ceremony, Sandfall dropped patch 1.5, which brings new content, a Photo Mode, and most importantly (to me, at least), new languages, including Latam Spanish!

Seriously, localization teams going from actively barred from appearing in credits to being thanked during the biggest show of the year... It means the world, and shows how much we've grown as an industry. Un immense merci à Guillaume et Jennifer !

lot of negativity towards AI lately, but consider : are these tools ethical or environmentally sustainable? No. *but* do they enable great things that people want? Also no. *but* are they being made by well meaning people for good reasons? Once again, no. maybe you're not being negative *enough*

This is the same for aspiring and even experienced translators. You cannot learn if you rely on AI. If you do not learn then you cannot improve. You will never get better at your craft nor even gain the skills to see when the machine is wrong.

Every piece of so-called “AI art” is repulsive. I don't want to see any of it. Ever.

Just a quick reminder that when Miyazaki said that AI-created animation was "an insult to life itself" he was speaking not just about humans abdicating the act of creation, but also of the moral obscenity that flows from the work of a robotic "creator" with no understanding of human dignity or pain.

It's also a classic issue of everything AI related: there is just no actual *demand*. We're being force fed these models that the vast majority of games workers never asked for, and mostly don't want at all.

Why the hell did I wait so long to play TUNIC? I started my adventure yesterday and can't wait to get back to that beautifully crafted world. The sense of discovery and the progression system are incredibly well thought out. And don't get me started on the in-game manual! It's too good.🦊
