There should be a high bar for politicians attacking the media, but maybe Ed Davey has half a point here? Under Reforms policy of deporting those with “indefinite leave to remain” status not in work - it would mean pensioners who’ve been here for decades would get deported. I’m sure the “protect the oldies at all costs” people will be in uproar.
