Back home after Denmark (Lego House then Counterplay), Gdansk (general explore), Paris (Louvre), London (V&A), and then home. After navigating so many unfamiliar places, especially the trains, planes, and buses, my autistic ass says no more travel for *years* please. But it was a good trip!

Shit morning at the hotel. Milk in the room was off (I thought UHT milk was immortal!) so no tea first thing, massive noise in the hotel at 5am, no hot water for a shower. Just all a bit rubbish. But now sat looking at beautiful things in the V&A, so everything is right in the world again.

I *think* these were the only themed Lego sets I had as a child (at about 11? 1982?), but though it might have been slightly different sets - remember the tiny space ship and a rocket just like this one! Don't remember it being on a trailer though. On display at the Lego House museum section.

Bugger! Stuck outside Kings Cross on a train as all the platforms are full and loads of trains out are cancelled. I built in an hour's slack before I fail to make the airport in time, but that's not looking good at the moment...

Nice walk this morning from Marske to Saltburn and back. Always love this little spot as you go onto the beach at Marske, little fishing boats in the liminal space, there's nice little valley gardens to walk through into the village as you go past the boats too.

Found out today my son has finally admitted he's autistic, phew, hopefully that'll help him make sense of some stuff! The daughter and I have been nudging him towards it for long enough...
