The WSU football team went to the movie theater I worked at to see a movie the night before a game they were playing. Mike Leach, who was the coach at the time, asked me for a movie recommendation and I pointed him to A Most Wanted Man, which he told me he enjoyed as he was heading out.

#PeoplesPop25 Day 6. "I Want You (Fever)" by Momma This might be the most a song has won me over on first listen this year. The platonic ideal of mall rock revivalism.

#PeoplesPop25 Day 5. "Reality TV Argument Bleeds" by Wednesday I truly do like "Elderberry Wine" but it being the lead single for this album did make me worry that Wednesday were going Tasteful Country Rock for the whole album. This being the first track on Bleeds dispelled that nice and quick.

#PeoplesPop25 Day 4. "Dumb Feeling" by Mei Semones Son of Mecha Mummy Don't Post Mei Semones in a 2024/25 Music Challenge: FAILED. I especially like how well this song showcases her whole band. She has a great band! There's stand-up bass and viola in there! That's neat as hell!

the John Denver/Muppets Christmas special is one of the weirder mixes of melancholy and earnest you'll ever see, with occasional bits of "oh right you're watching the Muppets" to right the ship before it gets sad again.
