Mayor Bowser has screwed over DC taxpayers by bringing a take it or leave deal on the RFK stadium and Commanders coming to DC. They are literally cutting healthcare to pay for this boondoggle.

As a DC voter, I’m grateful that we will have Ranked Choice Voting in our next elections. We will actually have a chance to vote out Councilmember’s that vote yes on the RFK stadium.

The Council Budget Office's analysis of the RFK Stadium deal is out & it's even more expensive than first reported. Total DC Taxpayer Subsidy: $4.4 billion‼️ We need a better deal. That’s a huge price to pay with not enough coming back to DC taxpayers. There's still time to get it right.

When Congress handed over control of the RFK Campus to DC, they put a prohibition into the law that prevents the use of federal funds to build a stadium. They didn't put a prohibition on using federal housing funds to build more affordable housing.
