From @hmns.bsky.social: This fossil of a giant crinoid colony (Seirocrinus subangularis) attached to a piece of driftwood was found in Germany. Crinoid means "lily-like", but they're not flowers, they're animals, the ancestral line leading to modern sea stars & sea urchins.
