Tempted to say screw it and make Prototype style stickers by tracing around, painting and then using the scanner to replicate a flat version

Wanted another coat of blue on the tanks to make it look coherent but little drops of rain landed on it and ruined the finish taking several layers of paint underneath with it, not sure if salvageable or if I should just get a vat of isopropyl out and strip the whole thing and start again
