Ocean models are governed by a series of equations, but those equations aren’t always foolproof. A new technique aims to use machine learning to “discover” equations directly from data.

Shimmering through the darkness 🦑✨️ This long-armed jewel squid (Stigmatoteuthis dofleini) was observed at 840 meters (2,760 feet) on the outer Monterey Canyon. This species is a close relative of the strawberry squid (Histioteuthis heteropsis), but sightings by MBARI's ROVs are much less common.

One major red flag needed to get across to voters is for whenever a candidate says they’ll 🚩run the government like a business🚩 Businesses are run to make as much profit off of customers as possible and enrich its leaders. A government should protect & support its citizens, not profit off of them.
