Most years we don't use enough to meet our deductibles, but I needed surgeries in 2025. A HUGE portion of that 144k went to INS administrative fees. Self pay would have been HALF, but it was still 20k more than I could afford so I needed the policy. Holy shit pull your heads out of your asses.

Imagine my shock when I go to draw my diabetes med up for the week only to discover the pharmacy shorted the prescription I paid $300 for by 1.65ml! I needed .75 & there was only .35 left. Day 1 with no health insurance & I am already getting fucked. Turning my feelings into felonies here I come.

So how did the fireworks at midnight sound for you? This was me. The air quality today is not great as a result. They went off from about 6 until 4am, though they weren't this intense that entire time.
