About a year ago I made an unbelievable amount of chickens. After the temperature blanket and completing a cat couch for my mom (my third cat couch) I'm having project block so I decided to crank out more chickens, and they just kept getting bigger somehow 🤷🏻‍♀️

My niece loves her blanket, and during our little photo shoot, Wendy saw what was happening and immediately understood the assignment!

And it's done!! It's so heavy. It's been my life for the past two months and tomorrow I will gift it! 🌸 As I was working on the border I thought, shoot I should have made them hexagons and gotten more creative with the shape but too late, this was complicated enough!

Tomorrow it will be done! I have one border row left, and it's a long side, and it's past my bedtime 😴

A plant I got from a greenhouse in Nov 2020 for $5 as a "COVID office rescue" really loves its spot under the kitchen skylight ☀️

Today is a 'open the $50 bottle of wine from the hotel mini bar' kind of day
