It's funny how much the Nintendo 3DS has one core gimmick and then Nintendo slapped on a ton of bullshit just incase lol. It's like "3D screen + 3D cameras + gyroscope for AR gaming" but also slap IR communication on it and a pedometer just because nothing else in gaming has these now.

I think they have trained their audience that "Final Fantasy" is a certain way. If they want to do something different then they should use a new name so it don't have the baggage of that brand.

Square Enix has gotten their audience used/attuned to a certain type of JRPG, and if a game deviates from that it won't sell well. Though marketing is very important, this has to be addressed.

Seeking advice. I have many services that require cert renewal for HTTPS. My usual workflow for nginx is: 1) set up a cron job to call certbot monthly (strictly more often than needed for a 90 day cert but I'm lazy) 2) 91 days later, re-cert fails, realize that there was a bug in my script, fix […]

One of the worst things that we've done as a society is push the idea that all viewpoints are valid and up for debate. This is legit why so many people think those bullshit jubilee debates are a form of education and not just a way to socially manipulate people into being open to fascism.

are you allowed to get any clarification? hahaha no. you're supposed to know about allergies, tastes, dietary restrictions, quantities, seasonality of the dish, are there any traditions involved?. men do, though. the what chair? where do you want the chair?

men get very clear, straightforward instructions. like "bring your foldable chair in the car and put it exactly here". women get "figure out a side dish for 30 people" that sprawls into an incredibly deep decision tree

I think this strengthens the case for Stancilism. Immediate post pandemic economy was *weird* in a way that made it hard to compare it to similar years. But we've got low unemployment and low inflation now. Very hard to make the case that now is worse than the Volcker shock.
