Ok, it took me a bit of 🕰️, but I think I'm warming up to Vampire Crawlers. There's a depth of strategy that is interesting; the need to NOT use disposable cards (that increase your perm stats for a run), but to stack them on top of a huge combo to increase their effect. -1>0>1>2>3>4>loop>0>1>2 etc.

Ok definitely overprepared for the final boss of Act 1 bec I was tanking its hits without me needing to dodge. Also using a spear for this fight was the right call as it was using those spinning orbs that damage you at close range
