My dear friend Thalia ( @swirlymuse.bsky.social ) sadly passed away early last month. Her parents have asked me to say thank you everyone for your friendship to her over the years. She was the kindest and best friend I could have ever asked for, and I will miss her dearly.

The team is deeply saddened to share the news that Sonic the Comic Online veteran Hume, Thalia Evans, has passed away after a long battle with cancer. Thalia was part of the team from the very beginning, providing the cover and Tails strip for our first issue, STC #224 in May 2003.

This is why folks have GOT to read Sonic The Comic and approach it with an open mind. The Sonic in those pages is the closest official characterisation we get to this and is why it’s still my favourite interpretation of the character.
