Creating AI prompts for automation is like building a skyscraper with Jello bricks. When it works, it’s amazing. But then changing one innocuous phrase or adding one more instruction can make it all slip apart and crash down.

Pro tip for using Copilot in VS Code for database devs: script your database to a git repo. Agent mode can then pull the context of your tables, existing procedures, and generally the way you prefer your SQL to be written. We script and commit ours nightly with a function so it's always up to date.

It's incredible what LLMs can do, and not just for greenfield AI apps! In one app I lead, we've used them for a few years in production in a mature internal business app. We just found ways to reduce drudgery while leaving our SMEs in charge of LLM decisions. Huge productivity boosts.

Amazon's "search" tool is SO INCREDIBLY BAD that I now using Chat GPT to shop for me. I know *exactly* what I want and I have to wade through pages upon pages of bad "fuzzy" search results. And of course Amazon doesn't even have a BlueSky account, so I can't properly shame them here.
