The point is this doesn’t just get fixed with an election. That might be the start (if they ever get held) but that the leaders need to realise the deeply broken problems. There is no reason any nation should ever trust America even if a Dem wins. You’re just 4 years away from another Trump.

I’ve seen too many Americans talk about how the USA used to be an example to other nations. Let me just tell you, yes it has been. It has been an example of what not to be. Healthcare, education, law enforcement, military use, gun laws, social security etc… But yeah you make some good movies.

One problem that Americans have to get past is that this *is* who they are. It’s not an aberration - this is what the US society is. All that time kidding yourself about being the greatest nation on earth you have been murdering your own citizens and those in other countries.

The 2nd amendment needs to be amended

Pay CLOSE attention to the wording in any DHS statements. DHS will say "armed suspect" DHS will say "approached officers with a gun" These are copaganda phrases to make it SOUND like the victim was holding or brandishing the weapon. He was not.

This begs the question: Where are all those Second Amendment fanatics who claim they MUST have weapons (specifically guns) to combat a tyrannical government?

"My guns keep your rights safe from an oppressive government." No. They don't. You'll get executed for the crime of being armed while not a Federal agent. You'll make the tactical decision to not shoot. They allowed insecure people to feel powerful. We sacrificed school children for this myth.
