had a weird dream of a dystopian future in which corporations are treated as not just people, but as a protected class. came with odd things like discrimination suits against small businesses for not letting them advertise in their stores. in this future large corps were the ONLY protected class

When people on here share that they aren’t concerned about the fate of over 1 million people because that’s a relatively small number of people I’m like oh um actually you’re supposed to care about minorities

There seems to be some ambient desire to bring back "Edgy" but put it in The Right Peoples hands and Im sorry but the 13 year old who reads Elfen Lied and wants to turn into a bolt of lightning that kills people understands the concept better than you do.

When I see an LGBTQ book w 1-star reviews vaguely complaining abt it being "full of grammatical errors" I assume the book either has characters w neopronouns or using they/them pronouns. It fucking sucks that fantastic books have low rating averages b/c some people just don't understand pronouns.

i think my writing is too weird for traditional lit mags and too normal for the experimental-ish ones. or like. maybe my writing's just contrived all around. or a secret fourth thing.

This is how you become a writer: just pick one of the things that is deeply wrong with you. Make it a character. Now send it on a self-help journey or try to kill it. Now call it a book.
