Photon collector - Science will win!
Same data processed to reduce stars. Can’t decide which version I like more. Both have some aspects that are better than the other.

I was shooting this last night and it clouded over. Glad I waited patiently for about 30 minutes, and it got clear again. Can’t wait to process this and other images later today.

Added 3 more hours of subs on California nebula. It seemed to reduce noise and bring out more details of the nebula. That’s what one would expect with longer exposure. 🔭WO UC 108 📷ASI2600MC-Duo Optolong LeNhance filter 61x5-min subs

I am old enough to remember when killing any humans was bad. Then somehow it became OK to kill foreigners. Now, it is fair game to kill your fellow citizen if they disagree with you.

Tulip nebula is an emission nebula in Cygnus. Not as bright and big as other nebulae around it but there is an interesting object in the same field of view. The blue lines point to the location of an X-ray source, Cygnus x-1 - the first ever black hole candidate discovered in 1964.
