A person that walks, drives, cycles a bike & runs very long distances. Views expressed are my own.
With the people that deny climate change is real, just what temperature would it have to hit in Ireland for these people to finally accept that something is very, very wrong? 35c 40c 45c 50c ? Honestly curious. Its a question to ask them next time you meet them.

We build vehicles that weigh 9000 pounds with 1000HP, can go 0-60mph in 3 seconds and market them recklessly. We then ask people to wear construction vests to cross the street. This is all so beyond absurd and it's truly incredible that we've normalized this.

Why is this story framed as if he just had sex with her? She was 14 years of age, she could not legally consent so this is child abuse and he gave her drugs. Yet the judge stated āthere was no evidence of force, coercion, degradation or humiliationā. She was 14, she could not consent!

!!! Sayer's Old Meadow was an arable field bathed in chemicals until 2005. It was abandoned for 5 years & since then it has been mowed annually. No seeds/plants have ever been introduced to it. It is very species-rich. Ecological restoration is often best when we do less!!!

A typical European car is parked 92% of the time. It spends 1/5th of its driving time looking for parking. Its 5 seats only move 1.5 people. 86% of its fuel never reaches the wheels, and most of the energy that does, moves the car, not the people. Sound efficient? HT
