interesting to think about how, by technicality, console games are impossible to be obscure. just cause everything is *going* to be documented (unless they're unlicensed). there's obviously still a lot of games that have (sometimes VERY) poor documentation, but they're still in databases

uh oh.. i messed up the video game...... i killed the boss at the same time i got hit by it and the game really disliked that. so all of my animation frames got turned into jumbled tiles in the next try. thankfully this went away once i got to the next stage but i was gonna be really sad if it didnt

it's definitely always interesting for me whenever i find a new console beatemup to play. they always have the strangest approaches to combat compared to arcade games but they kind of intrigue me much more for that at times despite not being great. you can't even throw normally in iron commando

hmmm.. i think maybe i wound up enjoying this game as a whole just enough.... my friend said i love colorslop and it's TRUE..... but even with me feeling disappointed with the track design i still appreciated it's gimmicks when they decided to exist and not have the game played for you

dark savior was probably the first saturn game i played out of several beforehand where i was actually like “wow. this is actually good. i understand why saturn fans are annoying now” one of my wife’s favorites of all time, because she has impeccable taste of course
