One of my favourite Jafar Panahi films is Offside, filmed live & under false-script-pretenses at the Iran-Bahrain 2006 World Cup qualifier. The joy and unity documented in that final scene makes me think that fucking with the Iranian football team will unite Iranians in a way the regime could never.
