OK - Motivated by this poast, I just read the Fifth Risk. It’s a tremendous work honoring all the unheralded amazing public servants. I’ve had the chance to work with a few government servants similar to those described and the book is on point. And incredibly moving. I cried at the end.

So I listened to the NYT Schumer interview. Schumer says that a government shutdown would have actually given more power to Trump/Musk to destroy and remake agencies. Is that wrong? Or is it just kinda similar to the status quo and people feel that the optics of a shutdown are better for Dems?

I know we have bigger problems right now. But I wanted to share the EXTREME opposite to net metering here in California Baja Sur (Mexico). Exporting surplus PV power is illegal! And meters only spin one way. So if you export, you actually pay for it! I'm no net metering fan. But this is extreme.

Question for you distribution 💡🔌💡 grid experts. I'm in Baja Cali Sur and off the beaten path a bit. Our system reports indicates the utility voltage varies like 15V from like 225 VA to 240 VAC over the course of the day. Causing issues. How abnormal is that? Seems bad.
