Any MN Democrat who votes for this should be challenged every time they say they're standing up against Trumpism. Or say they care about the people. This bill is reprehensibly dangerous and evil.

Today I found out that, because I asked questions and pushed for help making an institutional change, the change was made! It's nothing major, but I also know it helps a lot of people beyond me. I'm taking the win, knowing that even small victories are rare and worth celebrating.

Dear future self, when writing your next article, finish the footnotes as you write it. Don't save it for final revisions. It's a massive pain when you sit on the article for four years before revising it for publication. Also: don't sit on a good article for four years.

Just finished this book that I picked up at a queer bookshop in London, because how could I not read a book titled after Ruth 1:16? It’s an absolutely stunning story that explores family secrets, queerness, and diaspora—just like the book of Ruth.

Finally made it over to my local indie so I could preorder the lastest books by @annaleen.bsky.social (AUTOMATIC NOODLE) and @charliejane.bsky.social (LESSONS IN MAGIC AND DISASTER). Can't wait for August! Also must say both titles are fun to tell a bookseller you want!!!
