A magical journey that was often a balm for the soul for the past 5 years. It would be hard to imagine Star Wars without more High Republic, so it's always heartening to hear the tease of more to come. Yes, please! And thank you to the Luminous teams which brought such a gargantuan project to life!

Caught Daisey Ridley's "We Bury the Dead" and its opening, on today of all days, was more relevant than ever. Overall, unnerving film with haunting performances and ideas. Maybe doesn't take them all the way, but it's a good ride. Great scenery shots. Hard not to tear up when Ridley does, damn.

I spent the bulk of my day going through the manuscript for Star Wars: Outlaws - Low Red Moon and making a massive spreadsheet of easter eggs, connections, inspirations, and factoids. Getting ready for that publicity cycle!

Between Wake Up Dead Man and Pluribus, ate some delicious heapings of cinema this weekend. Pluribus has been rattling around, its ability to tell so much through all it shows. And not sure where Dead Man lands yet of the 3, but lots of head-nodding along about its (not always subtle) subtext.
