I don't know who needs to hear this right now, but... If you want to try painting, sculpting, drawing, welding... If you want to try sewing, weaving, macrame, embroidery... Take the time to start now. Art is such powerful therapy. You don't have to be good at it to find joy.

If it seems like small creators are constantly on the promotion cycle, it's because we kind of have to be or we can't stay afloat. I try to mix it up with humor, advice, silly memes, and so on but I always have to circle back to promotion in short order to keep the lights on.

One thing I'm really struggling to come to terms with as a designer, is the idea that I can stop and start again. I'm doing more #illustrations recently than I've ever done, and there are some that are just not working like I want, and it's so hard to just pause, take a breath and start again. #art
