This was a dream gig I didn't even know I had on my list: gift wrap! Worked with the amazing folks at Parliament in Portland to make some special owl-themed wrap for their favorite people.

For 2026 I am committed to more messy mixed media times even though I have no idea where it’s going… this was a fun mix of tempera paint sticks, colored pencils, brush markers and panpastels.

Hooray! TURKEY TROT @simonkids.bsky.social wiggles its way onto shelves today. Look at those little legs! The front cover has no text, and we needed to make it so it could flip upside down to shelve legs up if needed (hence turkey #8). It results in a very poppy graphic image!

In 2017 I illustrated a book called Bunk 9's Guide to Growing Up. The book, a highly illustrated journal, was an update to stuffy and prescriptive puberty books. I recently found out (though am wholly unsurprised) it has been a challenged title in NY and PA.
