Rolled credits on DK Bananza tonight and dipped my toes into the post game. Wonderful time and some big surprises and huge smile moments near the end that were unfortunately slightly soured by the final boss being frustrating and running TERRIBLY! Sub 20 fps with actual slowdown and dropped inputs

Adventures of Elliot (tales of bad titles) demo is very very good but also has some baffling annoyances like not being able to assign weapons to buttons *with those buttons* and your helper fairy telling you to block more after being hit by an unblockable attack. Very strong showing but some issues.

Fantastic Four was pretty good, had a consistently fun and engaging time with it. Some wonky writing and effects stopped it from meeting my expectations 100% and the looming threat of RDJ as Doctor Doom is a constant and bizarre distraction but Im happy to say its FINALLY a by the numbers F4 story 😄

Donkey Kong Bananza is everything that worked about Mario Odyssey with all the frustrating grind and guff taken out, all wrapped in an insanely engaging and refreshingly new core gameplay loop that suits DK so so well! Absolutely stellar game, really struggling to put it down.

Now I get that its basically the only real selling point of the Pro controller and charge grip but idk why the Joycon 2 SL/SR buttons cant be remapped when using split joycons like the GL/GR buttons. On PC it was actually really cool to use them on the og joycons but the buttons were very small
