1/9 This is a really interesting observational study looking at VL and DL use. Comparison of success rates is flawed - the choice to use VL or DL was dependent on the complexity of the case - the populations aren't comparable But I think there are other lessons analogous to surgical technique #AnSky

This is an interesting study with results that I didn’t expect, but am glad they found. As a 46 y/o anaesthetist w/ 16 yrs experience, I find it much easier to discuss pt safety issues w/ surgeons now than I did when I was 30 y/o and new. I am now the oldest doc in the OR many nights on call!
