My current nonfiction read is the Mis-Education of the Negro and I’m pissed this wasn’t taught in my undergrad sociology of education class bc damn does it resonate.

Y’all, Mom found out kid #1’s 1st grade teach (that we befriended a couple years back) has a mom who loves to go to the casino and she’s planning times for all four of us. In the excitement over quitting that job I forgot to mention that I found two romance bookstores very close to my house (and only down the street from one another). They were very lovely (and oof so pink) with delightful staff and small but interesting collections.
