Saw this at a thrift store a few weeks back. It was remarkable enough to take a picture of but not to buy. Guess it's some kind of catchphrase designed to get your attention? Clearly it's working

Kirby is body horror about capitalism. You play a character who consumes anyone and everyone in your path, and to what end? Coins? Treasure? "Powers"? You have no identity except your consumption. In one of the games there's even a final boss named "Marx" which I believe is no coincidence.

Begrudgingly admitted to myself that going outside more frequently is good for me, and immediately got laid flat by the flu for a week. When it pains it roars

In the '90s my dad worked a shitty job and collected some relevant Dilbert strips on the outside of his cubicle wall. At some point his boss told him to take them down, like he was worried it was going to embarrass him in front of his own boss

Honestly if “fighting AGAINST taxing billionaires in 2026” has you crying “purity test” you need to really examine what your values actually are

35 years ago On January 12, 1991, Fugazi took to the stage in Lafayette Park, right in front of the White House – unthinkable today – to play a relatively short set, thereby expressing her protest against the Gulf War. Fugazi - Turnover

I must admit there's a part of me that wants nothing more than to literally just *be* Joe Pesci in this movie and wear this ridiculous thing 'cuz the town doesn't have a 1 hour dry cleaner, and the store that sells new suits has the flu. It's either that or the leather jacket, which I know you hate.

I know it's not mainstream conventional wisdom but I think "Abolish ICE" is a perfectly reasonable response to this and you can get the public to buy in. Most people don't want masked murderous thugs roving their streets
