there was a general strike and 300,000 person protest in rome yesterday (hell yeah) so we had to taxi 1.5 hours to the airport then shuttle to our hotel (hell) BUT our shuttle driver was the sweetest man and we talked the whole way speaking into google translate 🥹

despite my grumbling at times it was so sweet and special to see my stepsister get married to her partner of 12 years. they're both amazingly kind and thoughtful people and they put together an unforgettable event

i was so anxious all day about my doctors appointment for a mental health medical leave and of course it went very well, my doctor was very supportive, and i had nothing to worry about!! sick to my stomach all day for no reason as usual 🙃
