Die Versorgungslage von ME/CFS-Patienten ist vollkommen unzureichend. Aber einige Ärzte scheinen die wissenschaftliche Literatur völlig zu ignorieren. Sie argumentieren auf der Grundlage einer vermeintlichen (gefühlten) Wahrheit, die sie aus angeblichen Erfahrungswerten ableiten.

I was diagnosed with POTS years before COVID When the first cases of Long Covid were reported, I thought we would see breakthroughs in POTS, MCAS, ME/CFS and more. I assumed the problem was too big to ignore. Unfortunately I was wrong, and most LC patients have been abandoned like the rest of us.

It is good to see that Whitney's condition has improved, but it is also clear that the illness is still taking a toll. The most important message is: People with ME/CFS can get better. When I started to improve, and PEM disappeared, I talked to doctors who treat ME/CFS patients. ⤵️

Last year I mentioned that some difficult things were happening in my life. My mother, who fought cancer for over two years, passed away in mid-October. She was a huge support during my battle with ME/CFS. The last few years have been tough for us.
