Have been mostly trying to avoid the news today. But a few initial reactions upon quick skim of EOs: * Attempt to halt dispursements of BIL and IRA awards. This is extremely aggressive and, if it sticks, will undermine investments (largely in GOP districts). Probably the sleeper provision.

Good thread on JTIQ cost allocation. One missing element: under IRS’s proposed 48/48E ITC rules, many generators—but not TOs or load—can claim a 30% tax credit on interconnection costs, including network upgrades. This really should change the “participant funding” conversation, but hasn’t yet.
