Same. Iâm also old enough to remember when Canadian diplomats risked their lives in 1980 to save 6 Americans working at the US Embassy. They brought them home on Canadian passports (the movie Argo was a true story). The US went wild in gratitude, flying Canadian flags everywhere.

This is the crucial point. They do not have enough people to enforce all of their cruelties. The best they can do is piecemeal while assuming people will wait passively for their turn. I am glad to see 22 states (and school districts) pushing back so fast.

The Internet Archive has to date downloaded 500 terabytes of US government websites, which it crawls at the end of every presidential term. The whole archive is fully searchable. This effort's housed by a donation-funded nonprofit, not a branch of the US government.
