I often get asked why I bother challenging disinformation and engaging with anti science anti vaccine conspiracy theory nutcases. Well - not enough of us did that. And now they are in power.

My engagement on X has increased exponentially recently 95% is with the general public as I try and combat disinformation and misinformation Here I come for professional updates. So a completely different focus.

I come here for updates in my field but Im still on X trying to fight disinformation. That site has been largely abandoned by serious scientists and nonsense about vaccines and more spreads like wildfire largely unchecked and unchallenged.
