It’s good to be reminded that not all vaccine responses are about antibodies. T cells are also important and may be much more broadly cross reactive to COVID variants. That’s prob partially why COVID has become milder despite sometimes poor vaccine match to prevalent strain

The cutoff for what constitutes “Acute PJI” is inconsistently (and somewhat arbitrarily) defined, but this recent cohort study of >5000 DAIR procedure out of Australia suggests that treatment outcomes deteriorate when DAIR is performed more than 4wk postoperatively pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39710215/
