my hands all of a sudden became super dry and itchy today and i don't know why. probably due to the weather/dry air but like...why now? what changed? it was fine all winter.

Our culture has such a reliance on art, mixed with so much disdain for artists' lives. Someone throws soup at a painting in a gallery or whatever and everyone acts like it's a literal murder, but that level of sympathy is for the object, almost never for the living conditions of artists.
