I feel like I left Cosplay America inspired and ready to work on Dragoncon projects but all I've done is craft swag 🙃 Trying to give myself some grace, and let whatever crafty creativity I have go wherever it likes, but that deadline is always looming 🤷‍♀️

Went to Cosplay America, had a lovely time, now I want to: - Buy antique parasol frames on eBay - Make a leather belt - Craft things outta masking tape - Figure out more casual cosplay - Make a million lil Kanzashi petals - Give all my friends a lil kiss on the forehead 😌✨

Been trying to focus on the little things lately ♥️ Slow craft progress, small changes, just taking everything step by step.

I love it when my brain connects things together so quickly and efficiently! Finished a little Adagio fandom blend sample this morning (it was good!) Been needing a yarn needle storage solution so I stuck a chunk of magnetic sheet in there and voila!

There's something magical about the point in some knitting projects where you reach a stasis. No more casting on or setting up or complicated increases or ribbing, just pure knitting. Makes my brain go pleasantly blank.

Made some good progress getting my sewing room in order with the help of my husband today. I wish large scale cleaning projects didn't give me such anxiety and overwhelm, but I'm glad I have someone to help ❤️

Magfest and my workflow up to it really reignited my passion for cosplay! I spent a lot of last year slogging away at a difficult project I didn't love anymore, and then struggled with a few things that I love the fandom for and enjoyed wearing but hated the process.

My other big project for Magfest was Wooloo! I love sheepy Pokemon and it was so fun to use only second hand yarn to crochet my sweater/kerchief/legwarmers 💕
