As promised I recorded the creation of a morph (from scratch) using the tech we developed for Keeper. In about an hour I show how we capture the “Essence” of meshes, blend between them, and spice things up with spatial warps.

This illustrates the full process of capturing the "Essence" of a mesh to be used in a morph. The distance field is retrieved and then the mesh is projected onto the cube-shaped "screen" in order to pack its surface properties into two cubemaps.

Clover can cast spells at any time, even while The Doll is mid swing. Here she casts a green "flash spell" which speeds up The Doll by 25% for 3 seconds - very effective on weapons with lots of fast individual hits like the Chain Dagger or Machine Gun.

For the next game, trying to make *everything* at least like 25% better than Withering Rooms. Trying to minimize the bad jank while preserving the good jank. Working on some spell FX today with some 3D noise for the smoke instead of plain old flipbooks like before.
