One of my favorite new Keeper update features is the ability to force the aspect ratio to ultra wide if you want to experience it on a standard 16:9 monitor. 32:9 + Noir mode makes for a very different experience.

Bigger version of that very early lighthouse concept, where it navigates through the graveyard. It changed a lot, but the core idea stayed.

A few more excerpts from the early mission doc where the walking lighthouse idea came from. There's another early concept in here that was used in the final game, too. Sometimes these early ideas have a way of finding their way into the final thing.

Ideas always emerge from unpredictable places. The idea of a walking lighthouse originally came from an early mission document I wrote for a different game idea. Here's the first page of that, plus the very first lighthouse concept that I did.

Played Cave Evil for the first time today!
