I started this book (It was in my reccomendations from here!) and so far I only put it down due to other obligations. In the first five chapters I’ve quickly grown attached to the characters, and the struggle they’re going through. Gets a good solid tone and emotional connection!

My life's TTRPG goal is to find a system that will allow me to have a party that can help stock a fantastical zoo and conserve environments, encourage breeding programs, and more. Alas, I have yet to find it. Several are close, but not one quite right.

One of the sooner goals I’d like to accomplish is making a layout for use on screen. It’d be nice to get a good overlay, but my personal skill in designing them is lacking. Gonna be hunting for someone to help out with that.

While the VOD didn't actually record, we had a fantastic first stream! We're already up to ten followers, and we built our entry plaza for #SouthPort🌹Zoo! Mixed the traditional entry gardens with a habitat for American Flamingoes! We also got a little bit ahead of the curve and started a food court!

Overspent at a convention and getting fired in the same week is a bit of a new low, but rocking on as best as I can.

Today I found out that Tom Bloom, one of the game designers of Lancer and part of Kill Six Billion Demons, designed one of the funniest games in existence, Goblin With A Big Ass. He's charging 80 bucks for it while the other games are free on his personal itch.io. I find this hilarious.

Me, burnt out on a rough job: I've been meaning to write, let's give it a crack and see what we can't get done. Nothing too crazy, just to put more oomph into a short story. Like a hundred words or something. And here I am, 1078 words later on what was supposed to be a casual evening.

Been experimenting with short stories again, this time taking an angle on the kaiju side of things. I've had some ideas that aren't quite big enough to be tales of their own standalone variety, and I think they can be fun with it. Might make a book out of it, if the time comes.
